Pencils and Paints LLC offers Private Art Lessons to children ages 5 and up, teens, and adults. I'm Donna Merchant, owner and art teacher of Pencils and Paints LLC, and I will travel to you for in-home private art lessons customized to meet your interest.

My Background
I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree, majoring in art education, and have over 20 years teaching experience.
I am a long term member of the Prince William Art Society and participate in local art shows. I enjoy painting acrylic landscape and still life paintings, as well as taking commissions for graphite pencil portraits. I’ve illustrated two children’s books, one of which is set in the town of Occoquan.
My lessons incorporate art history/appreciation and believe in putting the “FUN" in FINE ART.
